Will Furrion Vision S Camera System Work with 2016 Chevy Colorado

Question:

This camera system states that it will not work with GM trucks that have PWM wiring. How do I know if my Colorado has PWM wiring? Thanks

From what I could find online it looks like some of your interior lighting on your 2016 Chevy Colorado has that pulse width modulation (PWM) tied into it, but you should be good to go for the trailer wiring. We mainly see the trailer wiring tied into the PWM on the newer GM trucks but you should be able to contact your local dealer with your VIN and they should be able to tell you if you have it or not.

If you don't have it then you can install the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Observation Camera System # FCE48TASL-05 no problem. If you do have it then you can run power directly to the camera using 16 Gauge Wire # 16-1-1 and adding a switch like part # PK34513 so that you can toggle when power is active.
