Will Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System Work with Shank From Flash E Series Adjustable Ball Mount
Question:
I need to purchase a weight distribution system for my 20foot cargo trailer. I am towing it with my 2021 Ram 3500 Hemi. I currently have a Fastway Flash E Series Mount its either 8inch or 10inch aluminum , cant remember. My question is can I use my current hitch mount with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System?

The shank from your Fastway Flash E-Series ball mount would not be compatible with a Fastway E2 weight distribution system like the # FA94-00-0800. You'll need to use a shank that's specifically designed to be used with a weight distribution system.
The Fastway e2 # FA94-00-0800 is compatible with trailers that have a fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weights ranging from 400-800 lbs. If the fully loaded tongue weight falls within that range, the Fastway e2 system you'd looked at would work great for you. The trailer ball is sold separately. For a 2 inch ball, use # A-90 or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
If the trailer tongue weight when fully loaded is greater than 800 lbs, go with the # FA94-00-1061 which is good up to 1000 lbs of tongue weight. This kit includes the 2-5/16 inch trailer ball.
The shank included with either kit is good for a maximum rise of up to 6 inches and a drop of up to 2 inches. For a shank with a greater amount of height adjustment, the # FA92-02-4315 will provide a rise of up to 12 inches or a drop up to 8 inches when used with a round bar weight distribution system.
