Depending on how your 7 Way is wired, having constant power at the aux port is perfectly normal. I do need to mention that this is typically used for reverse lights, but not all the time. With that said, as only the right side of your trailer has the lights remaining on, you almost certainly have either a ground issue or a short somewhere.
You will need to check all the ground wires on your trailer and each should be its own location. Stacking grounds for multiple things is a fairly common practice, but isn't the best way to do it. Each light, brake, or other accessory really should have its own ground. Once these are all checked and or fixed if they are corroded or damaged, test the trailer to see if it is working properly. If it is now working properly, you are good to go.
If it is still doing it though, you do have a short somewhere. As it is just the right side acting weird it is safe to assume that the issue is on this side of the trailer. You will need to use something like the # PTW2992 circuit tester and then tracing the light wire to find the short. I recommend starting up towards where the wire for the lights comes out of the 7 Way plug as it is most likely making contact with either your aux cable or the 12 volt hot line.
In the off chance that neither of these things are the issue or get your trailer working properly, let me know and I can try something else.
