Availability of A 7- way Adapter to 6-pole Round Male Connector
Question:
From the photo, the smaller six way end of this adapter appears to be male. I need this end to be female to connect to my tow vehicle which has a male connector. The larger end appears to be correct. Is this the right cord?

The Hopkins Heavy-Duty, Coiled Trailer Connector Adapter - 7-Way to 6-Pole Round - Center Pin Auxiliary, item # HM47083, is designed to go from the the 7-way connector on a towing vehicle to a 6-way female connector on the towed vehicle. The center pin on the 6-way end is wired for 12 volt auxiliary function.
If your towed vehicle has a male connector on it, to operate the brake lights when being towed, then you will need the RoadMaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Kit, item # RM-146-7, or the RoadMaster 7-Wire to 6-Wire Straight Cord Kit, item # RM-98146-7, for running power from your RV - with the 7-pole, round plug - to your towed vehicle with a 6-pole male round plug.
