Will Using The SumoSprings Rebel And TorkLift StableLoad Kits Prevent Sag On A 2022 Ram 3500?

Question:

I am thinking about adding the SumoSprings Rebel jounces and the Torklift Stable Load kits to my 2022 Ram 3500. I just got this truck and am noticing a fair amount of sagging when I pull my 5th wheel camper. I tow pretty often and want to get something back there to help with the load. So two questions. First, can these be used together like this? And second, will it get rid of the sagging? And I guess third, since I'm at it, do you recommend something else that would be better? Thanks for your assistance.

If the rear of your 2022 Ram 3500 is sagging while towing your 5th wheel, supplementing the rear suspension will definitely help. The TorkLift StableLoad # TLA7310 will improve handling by pre-activating your vehicle's factory lower overload springs and helps to evenly distribute weight. The SumoSprings Rebel Helper Springs # SSR-301-47-2 will further this support and will offer 5,000 pounds of supporting capacity when they are compressed to 50%. With that being said, this will be more of a reactive set up than a proactive set up. I do also have to mention that going with this set up, there will be no adjustability and the # TLA7310 cannot be used on Regular Cab model Ram trucks. So just be aware of that.

With all that being said, I do prefer the adjustability of the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F2710 kit. This offers up to 7,500 pounds of load leveling capacity at 150 psi, but can then be deflated down to 5 psi when you are not towing. That means you get your stock ride back. Pair this with the Firestone Air Command II # F2219 compressor system, and now you can not only do this on the fly, but you can actually inflate and deflate each bag individually to completely level everything out. Though this will be more expensive, it is the way I would go.
