Troubleshooting Bounce With A Lakota Gooseneck Horse Trailer

Question:

Will this help take some bounce out of my trailer when hauling? I have airbags with compressor on my truck already. Adjusted them to multiple settings when hauling and it was still bouncing. I was using the ball 4foot inch offset. I have this product as well was wondering if it would help the bouncing at all.

Thank you for the pictures and further detail of the trailer being unloaded. The main issue causing the bounce is the lack of pin weight when your trailer is unloaded. This can be solved by adding in shocks like the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit w/ Shock Absorbers - Tandem 7K Trailer Axles # RM-2460-2570.

This leaf spring suspension kit prevents shock transfer between axles, increasing traction while braking by as much as 70 percent. Heavy-duty shocks reduce bouncing, chucking and porpoising of your trailer up to 50 percent. The nitrogen-charged shock absorbers help to eliminate trailer bouncing, chucking, and porpoising. They limit up-and-down motion of trailer on both compression and rebound and help to control trailer sway by limiting lateral movement.

I've attached a couple of videos below that will offer some additional information, show you the benefits of this suspension system, and show you how to install this system yourself.
