Starting with the most significant difference here, the BulletProof Hitches Adjustable 2-Ball Mount # MD204 has a different rise/drop when compared to the Curt # C45900. The # MD204 has a 4" drop and a 4" rise while the # C45900 has a 6" drop and 5" rise.
It is important to have the right options for rise and drop for your 2020 Ford F-150. To choose a ball mount with the correct rise and drop, you'll first need to take two measurements: your hitch height and coupler height. The difference between them will be your rise or drop.
As far as capacity is concerned, they both have a 10,000 lb capacity with the 2" ball and 14,000 lb capacity with the 2-5/16" ball. The tongue weight, however, is different. The # C45900 has a tongue weight capacity of 1,400 lbs while the # MD204 is 2,000 lbs. This is because of the sturdy construction the BulletProof Hitches ball mount has when compared to the Curt. Overall it is a higher quality hitch.
The balls are also different since the # MD204 uses a matte black powder coat finish over the steel ball. As for the material, they are both steel. If you plan on using either of these for your boat trailer I recommend that you routinely check for scratches and touch up any blemishes with rust-inhibiting spray paint.
If you want the best option for your boat trailer, I recommend a Fastway adjustable ball mount like the # DTSTBM6400-2S. The 2" ball would has a capacity of 8,000 lbs so it would still be able to handle your 7,500 lb boat trailer. This features an aluminum shank and stainless steel balls for the best corrosion resistance you can get.
I attached a link to all of our Fastway ball mounts with stainless steel balls if you need a different rise and drop. I also attached some review videos and a helpful article on measuring rise and drop that you can check out.
