Will I Get The Death Wobble When Flat Towing My 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk?

Question:

I am looking to get my 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk set up for flat towing behind my new RV, but I keep seeing "death wobble" related to flat towing a Cherokee. This has me nervous. I also saw that there is a wiring harness to help with this. So do I need this harness for my Jeep? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The part you are referring to (Mopar's 68321424AB) was indeed a fix for certain models and years of Jeep Cherokee that were experiencing the dreaded "death wobble", but your 2021 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk does not fall under these years. Those years were from 2014 to 2018 and the issue has since been resolved, so it will not be needed. This means that once the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate # RM-521451-5 is installed, along with the rest of a full set up I recommend listed below in case you are not looking at them yet, you will be all set and ready to go.

Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate # RM-521451-5
Roadmaster Falcon All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar # RM-522
RoadMaster 68" Single Hook, Coiled Safety Cables # RM-643
Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152-1676-7
Roadmaster Battery Charge Line Kit # RM-156-25
Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751471
Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700

If you couldn't tell. I am preferable to the Roadmaster parts. This is due to upwards of 99% of their products being made and rigorously tested in the US. They also have lifetime warranties on just about everything, so they are highly recommended.
