Is the Mopar Flat-Tow Wiring Harness Needed for a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WL
Question:
In order to flat tow my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk behind motorhome, does it require a “flat tow electric power steering enable kit” perhaps Mopar 82216418AB? The 2021 manual mentions this but not the 2022 GC manual. Not clear if they fixed the problem or just not talking about it. Thanks!

I checked the owner's manual for a 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee WL and there was no mention of the Mopar Flat Tow Wiring Harness therefore this is not required. That said, you will need a base plate kit, safety cables, tow bar, wiring harness, and supplemental braking system. I have attached a list of these for you below.
