Can I mount this or a similar unit without drilling holes in my roof?

The Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat - Powered Lift - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4", part # FV803350, or any other compatible roof vent, will need holes drilled in the roof if the holes in your roof and the vent do not match.

Fan-Tastic vents does have a powered roof vent that clamps on for install with the part #FV801208 which would work great for you. The part #FV807350 attaches using screws though.

The MaxxFan Deluxe Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Thermostat item #MA00-06200K uses up to 5-Amps to operate when running and up to 9-Amps for startup. So probably between 90 - 100 hours if it was the only thing running and you left it on.

The Replacement Fan Motor Assembly Kit #FVK8017-00 is the correct replacement fan motor for your Model 6300 Fantastic roof vent. This will require replacement from the roof side as that is the only way to access the mounting hardware.
