Are Spacers Needed When Installing an Airbag System in a 2010 Ford F-350 Lifted 1" in the Rear

Question:

Hello, I have a 2010 Ford F350 SRW. I installed a 4inch block which is 1inch larger than the factory block to keep the rake after leveling the front end. Do I need a spacer for the 1inch lift when I add an airbag system to my truck or can the airbags make up that difference?

Helpful Expert Reply:

No, you will not need to use a spacer. Since the lift ended up being only 1" higher than the factory lift you will not need a spacer like the Lift Spacers for Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2366 when installing an airbag system like the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2550 in your truck. The # F2550 is the correct Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs for your 2010 Ford F-350.

The Air Command Compressor System # F2610 will work with the # F2550 if you want a compressor system that lets you monitor and adjust your air springs. This wireless system connects directly to your smartphone for operation so there is no remote needded.
