Can the 18K Demco Hijacker for ISR's be Adapted to Fit a 2022 Ford F-250 w/ Prep Package

I have a 18k Demco Hijacker in my truck without prep package. I am getting a 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty with the prep package. My question is this, is there a way to adapt the Hijacker I currently have to be able to use it in my new truck?

Yes, you can absolutely still use the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034 you currently have in your new 2022 Ford F-250 Super Duty. There are two different routes that you can go to accomplish this.

The first route would be to use the Demco 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ford # DM6175. This adapter would drop into the puck system in your F-250 prep package and allow for the necessary mounting points your current Hijacker needs.

The second option would be to use the Replacement Side Plates for Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # DM6033. This would allow you to switch out the mounting plates on your current Hijacker to plates that are compatible with the prep package in your F-250. This is the route that I recommend you go. The reason I recommend this route is because you will not have to mess with both a hitch and an adapter, but more importantly if you do use the adapter you are automatically adding 2" of extra height to your 5th wheel set-up. This extra height could potentially cause some issues with your 5th wheel.
