Can Pollak Wiring Harness Extension be Used for Replacement OEM Wiring on 2015 Chevy Silverado 1500
Question:
I have the factory 4 and 7 way in the bumper. The factory wiring harness that plugs in the back of the 7 way the little square female plugs came out on some and I tried to reinstall but the socket will not hold them in correctly I believe they clip in but the plastic is worn.So instead of replacing all those pins with the special tool I believe I need I could just buy this socket and cut the existing wires behind it and install this and plug in so I don’t have to go through all these little pins. Thank you

Yes, the Pollak Wiring Harness Extension # PK11-934 is exactly what you'll need to replace that wiring connection. The round plug on the back is called a US Car Connector and is a universal plug that fits at the back of the vast majority of 7-Way sockets like what you have on your 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500.
