Dimensions of Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box for Lippert 1621

Question:

I have a 2014 Ram 3500 1ton, SRW Crew Cab with 6.5ft bed, and OEM puck system. My 5th wheel is a 2016 KZ Durango 1500. Currently I am using an Anderson Ultimate aluminum 5th wheel hitch, and its been great. I just want to get my bed real estate back, by going to a GenY, or Reese. What is the difference in length from king pin to mounts between a Lippert 1621, and this giise ball to mounts of the GenY box? I am slightly concerned about a reduction in turning radius, if I swap this, because it will move everything a little farther forward in the bed. As it is now, I can get a pretty tight, not quite 90 degree, turn out of my Anderson system.

The dimensions of the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box part # GY58GR are mirrored after that of the pin box it is designed to replace. In other words, pretty much every pin box that will bolt up to the Lippert 1621 pattern will have very similar dimensions so you won't really gain or lose much clearance when switching pin boxes. That said, I have attached for you below the dimensions of the above pin box if you want to be certain of clearance.
