The Rhino-Rack Artificial Rain Gutters, # 739A, require a M6 bolt. The bolts that are included with the rain gutters are M6 x 25mm (6mm diameter and about 1 inch long). If you think you will need a longer bolt, you should be able to find one with the appropriate length at a local hardware store. Unfortunately Rhino-Rack does not offer longer bolts for this kit.

Since you will be mounting these on an RV, there are a few things you will want to take into consideration. First, you will have to use Rhino-Rack roof rack legs with these rain gutters. The longest crossbars that Rhino-Rack offers are 71 inches long. I recommend comparing this to the width of your trailer before making a purchase. Also, these rain gutters are designed to be permanently installed. This limits the adjustability.

Another option that I recommend looking into is a track roof rack system. Yakima has track systems that are 42 inches long, # Y01126, 54 inches long, # Y01127, and 60 inches long, # Y01135 depending on the length that you want. The benefit of this is that the crossbar spread is easily adjusted for different cargo loads.

You can use the Yakima Control Towers, # Y8890027 (you will need 4), and any of the Yakima round crossbars. I have included a link to the round crossbars for you to check out.

The final factor that you will want to consider is the weight capacity of the roof of your RV. I recommend contacting your RV dealer or manufacturer to see if they have a weight rating for your roof. Verifying the weight capacity could prevent potential damage from overloading the roof of your RV.
