Trailer Hitch and Trailer Wiring Harness for 2007 Toyota Corolla
Question:
I have a 2007 Toyota corolla and I would like to tow something. I need the tow installation to be simple and stupid. Can you recommend a bolt on tow bar with a electric plug in system for towing the maximum weight in a corolla?

The 2007 Toyota Corolla is capable of towing up to 1500 lbs, per the owner's manual.
For an easy to install hitch, I'd recommend the Curt Class I hitch, part # C11265. You'll also need the # 55542 trailer wiring harness you'd looked at, a # C45521 ball mount and a # PC2 hitch pin. For a trailer ball, use # 19256 for a 1-7/8 inch or # 19258 for a 2 inch trailer ball.
As you can see in the installation videos I've linked for you, the installation is pretty simple and straightforward. I've also linked to the installation instructions for you.
