Ultimate Trailer Jack 322-RDJ-2K Stuck And Won't Go Up Or Down
Question:
I bought from you the Ultimate Trailer Jack, No. 322-RDJ-2K. I installed it with bolts per the manual and yes, I put Loc-tite on the bolt that holds on the plastic retainer piece. I used it once, and the jack locked up ,wont go up or down. I removed the plastic piece and removed the jack from the frame, no change. Can you help me to trouble-shoot this? If not, Ill need to get another 1, or something else. I have a little video I can send if it would be helpful.

There are a few things you can do to troubleshoot your Ultimate Trailer Jack # 322-RDJ-2K, start by loosening the 3 mounting bolts used to attach to your A-frame. From here you will want to check for movement. If it does move, tighten the bolts back up by hand at first and check again for movement. If all is good, tighten the mounting bolts back down to spec by alternating each bolt to ensure not one bolt is being tightened more than the other.
If that doesn't work, you can also try loosening the retainer bolt on the opposite side of the lever on the collar. Additionally, double check that the raised V-feature on the retainer is in line with the V-groove on the post. This should allow the post to move freely.
