Can Firestone CoilRite Air Springs Be Used w/ Timbren Helper Springs on 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser
Question:
I have a 2020 Toyota Land Cruiser, Heritage edition and Im pulling a trailer with a 300 lb tongue weight. I have the Timbren bump stops installed, they helped greatly. Question is would I get additional benefit from installing air bags?

You could add the Firestone # F4164 Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs to your existing setup, but I don't believe they'd do you a whole lot of good.
When the Timbren # TTORLC2 Aeon springs are installed, you'll have about 1/2 to 1-1/2 inches of preload between the spring and the and the top surface of the axle tube. Once the suspension compresses by that amount to take up the preload, the Timbren springs will come into play. In other words, the only time the # F4164 Coil-Rite springs would be effective is when the rear suspension isn't compressed.
If you frequently haul heavy loads in the cargo area of your Land Cruiser in addition to towing, I'd recommend removing the Timbren springs so you can take advantage of the adjustability of the Coil-Rites but if you primarily use the vehicle for towing, you'll be best served leaving it like it is.
