How To Help Prevent Rear End Sag While Towing with a 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser

Question:

Im wondering what options you would recommend for this issue? I will likely be towing the boat 1-2 times per week and have heard that this could end up causing excessive wear and tear on my stock suspension system...please let me know what you would recommend. I appreciate it! I have a 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser

I have two option to help decrease rear end sag on your 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser while towing, the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System part # TTORLC2 or the Firestone Coil-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F4164. The Timbrens are a one time only install whereas the Firestones require adjustments. That said, these adjustments also mean you can really fine tune your setup for the perfect amount of support/comfort.

If you will be towing multiple times a week then you most likely won't want to mess with the airbags each time so in this case the Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement System will be a better option for you. In regards to suspension wear, it is actually the opposite as the factory suspension has less work to do therefore preserving its life.
