Troubleshooting Kwikee Series 32 RV Steps that Blow Fuse
Question:
Kwikee model 32 step. Jerks and won’t fully extend. Cleaned out dried grease and reassemble. Now motor runs fine by itself but after hooking back up to gearbox it jerks a couple of times and then blows a fuse. Don’t know where to go next. Thanks.

Sounds like the Series 32 Kwikee step gear box is damaged and in need of replacing if the motor blows fuses when connected to it. What it sounds like is the motor is trying to work to hard to move the gear box which is why it blows the fuse. For a replacement you'd want the part # LC379160.
