How To Wire Sealed, Thin Line, LED Stop/Turn/Tail Light, 3-Function Trailer Light # STL69RRXB
Question:
Replacing a broken bar which used 4 wires yellow, Green, Brown, and white. How to go from that to 3 wire system?

It sounds like the old light operated with the brake lights, both turn signals, and running lights. But if you are using this light on just one side of the trailer you would only connect the white ground wire, the red turn signal/brake light wire, and the black running light wire if using it on one side of the trailer.
I am not sure what the other wire function is, but you can test it by connecting the trailer and going through the various lighting functions while testing the wires using a circuit tester like # PTW2993.
If this light was being used in the center of a trailer as a third brake light and you also wanted it to work with the turn signals and brake lights, you would need the turn signal wires (usually green and yellow) going into a diode # RM-790. Then the single output would go to the red wire. The diode will prevent back feeding.
