What 2-Bike Swing-Away Bike Rack Do You Recommend for My 2021 Ram ProMaster 2500?
Question:
Hi! Im looking for a swing 2 bike rack for my RAM Promaster 2500. I only find them for 4 bikes. Do you offer a 2 bike? Thanks.

Yes! We do indeed carry a 2-bike rack with a swinging function. For that rack, I recommend the RockyMounts BackStage Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - 2" Hitches # RKY10002. The BackStage will allow you to swing your rack away from your 2021 Ram ProMaster 2500 a full 90 degrees (with bikes loaded or unloaded), which will allow for access to your cargo area. One of the great features of the BackStage is that it involves a wheel-mounting attachment style that completely eliminates the need for a bike frame adapter bar if you have step-thru style bike frames, children's bikes, or women's bikes. Also, with the larger cradles, you will be able to use fat bikes up to 5 inches wide with the BackStage. As far as security, the rack comes with locks that secure your bikes as well as the rack itself.
In order to transport the BackStage with your bikes, you will need a 2-inch hitch receiver. For the hitch, I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # C13295. The Curt hitch provides you with 500 pounds of tongue weight, which is plenty to hold the BackStage with bikes loaded. Another great feature is that the distance between the center pinhole to the outside edge of your rear bumper is only 2-1/2 inches. This means that you will be able to use the BackStage on your van without any clearance issues. The hitch comes with all hardware required.
