Will Roadmaster Base Plate Kit # 264-1a fit a 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 with Missing Factory Tow Hooks

I have a 2008 dodge ram 2500 that came from factory with tow hooks but now they are missing what do the tow hooks do in conjunction this base plate? Jac

Since your 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 came from the factory with tow hooks the Roadmaster MS Base Plate Kit # 264-1A that you referenced would work for you. This kit utilizes the factory tow hook installation points as installation points for the base plate kit and even if you had the tow hooks still you would not be able to reinstall them once the # 264-1a was installed.
