What Tools Will I Need To Be Able To Install A Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver On My 2022 Kia Soul?

I want to get the Curt Trailer Hitch C67FR for my 2022 Kia Soul. I am not sure if this is something that I will be able to install myself. What tools or equipment will I need to have to install this, or should I take it to a shop to have installed?

To install the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C67FR on your 2022 Kia Soul you will need the following tools.
Ratcheting Wrench # PT84RR
17mm Socket
Pry Bar # PT55VR
Torque Wrench capable of at least 48ft-lbs # PT87ZR
Screwdriver # PT55ZR
Safety Glasses # PT89FR
Nylon Brush # 814092
Curt does recommend using a Stabilizing Strap # 18050 with any hitch mounted accessory such as a bike rack or cargo carrier. If you are needing a ball mount the Curt Drawbar # C45521 is the one Curt recommends using. It has a 2-5/8" rise, 3-1/4" drop and is 7-1/4" Long from hitch pin center hole to the ball center hole.
I do recommend installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # C89KR when you install the receiver. This will give you a 4-way connector that you will need if you are planning on pulling a small trailer. It can also be used with Auxiliary Lights # C53201 if your hitch mounted accessory blocks the view of your tail lights on your Soul.
