Ellen: Hey everybody, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a really quick look at this ratchet. This is going to be a three eights of an inch drive and is a teardrop shape should be a great addition for any kind of toolbox to get any sort of job done, where you need a smaller wrench to fit into maybe a smaller spot. So let's take a closer look and talk a little bit about the construction. Now, as you can hear, this does have a 72 count gear teeth. So it's going to be a fairly good amount of teeth to get the job done. Kind of the more you have the better it does as far as giving you better torque and options, or just a better transfer of motion.

Does that make sense, so that you hear what that sounds like. It is made out of a Chrome vanadium, alloy steel construction, and then it has a polished nickel, Chrome plated finish.So it should resist any kind of corrosion should be pretty well up to the task for anything you might throw at it other than just really high torquing, but that's typically not something that you do with a three eight inch drive. Anyway, as far as the length, it's about eight inches long from end to end, and the head is about an inch wide. And with the post, the ratchet or a socket would sit out, it's also about an inch deep. It does have a quick release to make it easy to get those sockets on and off, and also push them off if they happen to get a little stuck on there.

And again, it should be pretty easy to get your stuff tightened down or loosened up. That's pretty much it for our quick look at the three inch ratchet drive.
