For your 2007 Jayco Jay Feather Sport M-186 I recommend going with the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0600 as it is a better match to your weight specifications than the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0450. Your Jayco has a dry tongue weight of 370lbs with a GVWR of 3,900lbs. Since most of the weight is added to the front of your camper with the battery, propane and storage compartment in the front you will easily exceed the 450lb max tongue weight rating on the e2 # FA92-00-0450.
The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0600 is rated for tongue weights of 250-600lbs and a maximum trailer weight of 6,000lbs which will fit your Jayco perfectly. This will help to reduce the sway that you are getting on those windy days as well as provide a more stable ride when it is not windy.
As I was unable to identify the hitch ball size on your Jayco you will need either the 2" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6080 or 2-5/16" Hitch Ball # EQ91-00-6100. A 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216 is needed to install the correct ball onto the hitch head.
