How to Achieve Optimum Pressure for Tornado 360-Degree RV Holding Tank Rinser

Question:

I want to use a pump specifically a Macerator Waste Water Pump to pump water from a tank into a tank tornado Tornado 360-Degree RV Holding Tank Rinser w/ 6foot Long Hose #CAM40126. I know the tornado needs 20-45psi. I also know there is no direct relation between GPM and PSI. I can install the pump almost directly to the tornado less than 6 inches away. The volume and slope of the tank and hose should not matter since the pump is going to be so close to the tornado the hose can be considered part of the tank for equations, and the pump also acts as a regulator so incoming pressure should not matter. Water can be used for specific gravity or viscosity of the liquid being pumped. I cannot find any equation online that can help me figure out what GPM pump I need to achieve 40psi thru a 3/4inch hose @ 6inches long using water. Can you help or get your pump specialists involved to help me make the correct purchase? Thanks!

For your situation you'll want to use the Valterra Adjustable Water Regulator # A01-1117VP to ensure you get the optimum pressure rating for the Tornado 360-Degree RV Holding Tank Rinser # CAM40126 when using it in conjunction with a macerator pump. There is a way to mathematically convert GPM to PSI using Bernoulli's Principle but from what I can tell you have to have a pretty controlled environment for that. The Valterra Regulator will help you to get the PSI correct every time you use your system.
