Will the Curt 17 x 46 Cargo Carrier Fit on a 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon

Hello, is this cargo carrier compatible with a Subaru Outback 2021? Also, what additional equipment do I need for installation? Thanks

The 17x46 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 500 lbs # C18145 is designed to fit on both 1-1/4" or 2" hitches, and requires 7-1/4" from the center of the hitch pin hole on the receiver to the bumper in order to mount without contact. As long as you've got a hitch on your 2021 Subaru Outback Wagon and enough clearance from the center of the hitch pin hole to the bumper then you'll be able to use the Curt # C18145 without any issues. In order to keep the cargo carrier secured to the vehicle I recommend adding the Anti-Rattle Hitch Lock for SportRack Bike Racks and Cargo Carriers - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # SR0901. This carrier simply slips into the hitch receiver, so there's not any parts needed to install it on your vehicle outside of the hitch.

If you don't already have a hitch on your Outback then I recommend using the etrailer # e25TR, which gives you a really nice concealed cross-tube design so that only the receiver is visible, and this hitch puts about 2" from the hitch pin hole to the edge of the bumper so it will allow the Curt # C18145 to fit without issues.
