Will Road Armor Equalizers Work to Replace Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers
Question:
I have strengthen my masterblade with an additional blade on my VR Reflection Fifth wheel 28BH 2018. My question, I want to upgrade the equalizer that was originaly with LC279687 for part LC696740 but there is a difference of 1inch longer between the center fixation to the center cam and 1/2inch in width. Can I install it without modification ? Will the angle will be ok with the axels or should I modify by drilling a hole 1inch higher on the frame fixation ? thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer Kit part # LC696740 will work great in place of the Equa-Flex Cushioned Equalizers part # LC279687. The difference in width or length is only 1/2" total so 1/4" on each side and this won't have any affect on function. The height difference can cause the trailer to sit slightly higher but only marginally. There will be no modifications needed or recommended for installation.
