What All Can I Use The Alpha Systems AlphaFleece Tape for Wood Seaming on RVs For.

Question:

I was going to just do the seams on the roof decking, but I have other areas I might be able to use this product. The key thing is, if I use this to seal down the corner curves that sit between the roof and the side of the motorhome, will is accept the PVC adhesive I am using to lay the new LaSalle Bristol XTRM PVC RV Roof Membrane. ? Also, in the description.. it lists several other applications.. does that mean I can use this instead of Butyl tape, or as flashing to cover vent edges, etc, instead of self-leveling sealant? Being a remodeler, roofer, etc.. the idea of using a different product than gooping massive amounts of sealant on things is very appealing.

Yes it will accept PVC adhesive, the felt backing will soak it up and help create a strong connection/bond. The adhesive has a longer life span than butyl tape and it is cleaner than using caulk or other sealants.

It will need to be treated with paint or an adhesive on the felt backing. If not treated it will wick water/moisture, if treated it will be waterproof.
