Will this work over a party deck on the rear of a toy hauler?

So long as you have the needed 8-1/2 foot length across the back of your toy hauler, if you'd like you can install the Thule HideAway Awning - Direct Mount # TH490018.

You'll need to be able to access the area behind the top rail where the awning will be install to secure it, but if you can do that then there's no reason why the HideAway # TH490018 won't work for you.

The wires of the connector on the part #WG54006-046 are sealed and there isn't a way to remove them. If you check out the diagram I attached, you can see how the pins of the connector are organized.

What you'd want is the replacement suspension bolt part #166079. This is 9/16 inch in diameter like you need and is 3-1/2 inches long too. It comes with matching nut as well.
