Does the Lippert TT Ground Control Have Sensors Integrated to Prevent Frame Twisting
Question:
I have read articles referring to the possibility that the TT Ground Control can possibly twist the frame of a Travel Trailer especially longer ones. I can see how that could happen so there must be something in the design that prevents that. I have a 36foot Imagine Model 3100RD. Would appreciate your input on this.

I can't say that I've heard of this occurring on a properly installed Lippert Electric Ground Control TT 5 Point Leveling system # LC672136 since the system has sensors built into the system that detect twisting of the frame and shut the system down automatically if this occurs. My contact over at Lippert mentioned that when they've seen this occur it has been user error or improper installation, so you'll want to make sure that the spacing on your system is correct as outlined in the instructions included with the kit.
