Will the Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30075 Work With Reese Quick-Install Bracket Kit # RP50026
Question:
I purchased this with the quick mount rp50026 bracket. I am installing it on a Ford F-250 super duty with a 4inch lift that puts the bed rails at 59 inches. The trailer is a forest river 290vp impression. Will this combination work?

It's going to come down to the height, specifically the pin box height, of your Forest River Impression 290VP to determine if these will work together. With your trailer on even ground, you will need to measure from the ground up to the pin box. Then you will need to compare that measurement to the hitch height on your 2016 Ford F-250, which will just be the height of that Reese hitch plus the 59" you already measured.
The difference in these measurements will determine how you will need to adjust the hitch. The Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Round Tube Slider - Dual Jaw - 16,000 lbs # RP30075 has 3 height adjustments if you need to raise or lower the hitch to match the trailer height.
