SumoSprings or Timbren Rear Suspension Enhancement For 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500

Question:

I am looking for rear suspension enhancement for my 2021 Chevy silverado 1500 that is my baby. It sags a bit when I am towing my trailer and I am considering Sumo Springs or Timbrens. Which will be the best without causing the ride to be super harsh?

For your 2021 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 that you use to tow a trailer I recommend going with the Sumo Springs # SS45FR.

These helper springs offer 1500lbs of load leveling support which will be plenty for towing a trailer as the suspension of your truck is only supporting the tongue weight of your trailer.

I do not recommend using Timbren Suspension Enhancement as they are made out of a much stiffer material and are known for causing a very stiff unloaded ride.

Now the # SS45FR is designed for vehicles without adaptive ride control, so if your truck has that then I recommend going with the RoadActive Suspension Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit # RAS4611 which offer 2000lbs of load leveling support and will also not negatively affect your unloaded ride.

I included videos of the recommended products for you to take a look at.
