The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13171 and the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13395 have a few big differences. The main one is that the # C13171 is only confirmed to fit Jeep Cherokee model years 2014 - 2019 so you wouldn't be able to use it on your 2020 Jeep Cherokee.
Another main difference is the # C13171 has a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 5,000lbs (maximum GTW when used with weight distribution of 6,000lbs) and a maximum tongue weight capacity of 750lbs (maximum TW when used with weight distribution of 750lbs) while the # C13395 has a maximum gross trailer weight capacity of 4,500lbs (maximum GTW when used with weight distribution of 5,500lbs) and a maximum tongue weight capacity of 675lbs (maximum TW when used with weight distribution of 750lbs).
Note: You will need to check the GTW and TW of your vehicle and go with the lowest rated number when towing.
The typical tongue weight of a 2021 Little Guy Max is approximately 280lbs and gross tow weight is approximately 3000lbs so I recommend using the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control # FA92-00-0450 to help prevent sway and improve the handling/steering control of your vehicle while towing.
This hitch will require you to purchase a hitch ball with a 1" diameter shank. You can use the Tow Ready Hitch Ball # 63845 if your trailer requires a 2" ball to mount or the Curt Hitch Ball # C40005 if your trailer requires a 2-5/16" ball.
