When choosing a weight distribution hitch you'll want to find one where your trailer's tongue weight falls towards the middle of the prescribed weight range of the system. For your 2020 Grand Design Imagine XLS 22RBE I recommend using the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Trunnion - 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # FA92-00-0800, which has a range of 400-lbs to 800-lbs max. You will want to make sure your fully loaded tongue weight on the trailer is not more than 800-lbs, since your tongue weight will increase from the 497-lbs dry tongue weight that is listed on the specs of the trailer. The Fastway e2 provides 2 point sway control through steel on steel friction that will help control the trailer when being passed by semi trucks or during travel in windy areas.

If you don't already have a tongue weight scale, then the etrailer # e99044 is a nice option to allow you to always know what your trailer tongue weight is and tells you when you may need to move items at the front to the middle/rear of the trailer.

The Fastway e2 system requires a hitch ball with a 1-1/4" shank diameter like the # 63840 (2-5/16" ball) or # EQ91-00-6080 (2" hitch ball), and if you don't have a 1-7/8" thin walled socket to complete the installation you can use the # EQ70-00-4800.

If you find that your loaded tongue weight is higher than 800-lbs, please let me know what you find and I can help you locate an appropriately rated system.
