Recommended Suspension Upgrade For A 2011 Toyota Tundra

Question:

I have a 2011 Toyota Tundra and 1500pound slide in camper dry weight. I want to upgrade suspension including leaf spring help, shocks ? And possible air bags. Can you help ? I was thinking super spring, fire stone air bags, blistering ? What model ?

Expert Reply:

For your 2011 Toyota Tundra I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers - Rear Axle # AL88299. This hybrid spring system combines the adjustability of air springs with the reliability of jounce-style springs. The adjustable air bags reduce the strain on your rear suspension, increase safety, and compensate for uneven loads in your truck bed.

The Air Lift Load Controller Compressor System for Air Helper Springs- Heavy Duty - Dual Path # AL25856 will make adjusting the pressure of your bags extremely easy, all from the convenience of your cab. This system automatically restores air spring pressure when it is too low to ensure long spring life and the dual path system allows you to adjust each air bag separately for uneven loads.

Note: This system is not compatible with in-bed hitches. If you are using an in-bed hitch then let me know and I can recommend an alternative suspension enhancement.
