Does Install of Curt Hitch on 2021 Subaru Ascent Void Warranty
Question:
Will adding this to my 2021 Subaru Ascent void my warranty? Somehow I felt like the sales rep was lying. First time wanting to add a hitch to an SUV. I usually do em on my trucks but this is a first. Is it true or was the guy just trying to sell me a dealership hitch.

The warranty of your 2021 Subaru Ascent will not be voided as a result of installing the Curt Hitch # C25VR because of the Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act (P.L. 93-637). The Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act in short states that manufactures cannot void the entire warranty of a vehicle simply because they installed an aftermarket component. I do however recommend you look this up for yourself though to be safe.
