2020 Jeep Wrangler JLU Needed Items to Flat Tow
Question:
I will be flat towing my 2020 Jeep JLU Sahara with our motor home and Im not sure which wiring harness is needed. My Jeep has factory LED tail lights as well as the factory blind spot system. I plan on using a Blue Ox base plate and a Roadmaster Nighthawk tow bar. What wiring would you recommend?

For a wiring kit, I suggest the # RM-15267 Diode kit, which will help protect your vehicle's electrical components from damage in the event of a feedback. We actually have an installation video created of this product being installed on a 2020 Jeep. Please note the link below.
If you are using the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit, # BX1139, this is a great option. We have an installation video for this item as well that I have linked. If you are going to use this base plate kit, the Blue Ox Base, # BX1139 with a Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar, # RM-676, you will need Blue Ox Brackets Adapter, # RM-031-5 or, # RM-031.
For supplemental braking, I recommend going with a permanently installed system which means that there's no need to setup and take down in preparation of each trip,this is the most convenient option. I recommend is the Roadmaster Invisibrake, # RM-8700 and a brake switch kit, # RM-751490.
You may need is a high/low adapter that will help keep your tow bar level during travel. I've linked a helpful article on how to measure to determine whether or not you'll need one, as well as our entire selection of high/low adapters.
