20K Reese 5th Wheel Recommendation for a 2012 Ford F350 with Hitch Prep
Question:
I have a 2012 Ford F-350 DRW truck that came from the factory with the under the bed reese kit already in the truck when I bought it new. We are thinking about buying a 5th wheel camper and I was wanting to know if this is the only think that I need to be able to pull the camper. Also can you send me something showing how it locks in place in my truck. If not can you please let me know what else it is that I will need to get for my truck. I dont need the rail kit so I was wanting to know also how much this head will cost. The 7 way plug is already there also. Thank you and have a good day,

Since you already have the under-bed rails in your 2012 Ford F350 all you need is an Elite series hitch and you will be ready to tow.
If you have a long bed you would want a Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # RP30921, if you have a short bed you would want a Reese Elite Series Pre-Assembled 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider # RP30144.
Short bed trucks do not usually have the clearance needed to make 90 degree turns unless a slider hitch is used. That is why I recommended the # RP30144 if you have short bed.
I attached an FAQ on fifth wheel hitches for you to check out also.
