Yakima CoreBar Roof Rack System For a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL Without Factory Rails
Question:
We have a 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL. I looked on your website and it only gives two options for the 2020 Santa Fe - flush mounted rails and no existing rails or crossbars naked. Our Santa Fe does not have flush mounted rails nor is it naked. It has two rubber strips where the rails would be. Is it possible to remove these rubber strips and install flush mounted rails? Thank you.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The flush mounted rail system must be installed from the factory as there are no aftermarket kits to install them on your 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe SEL.
For your Santa Fe I recommend the Yakima Roof Rack System. I have linked a video of this system installed on a similar 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe for you to reference. And you can see that they have the same rubber strips as your Hyundai. You will need the following parts.
2- Yakima CoreBar Crossbars # Y00421
4- BaseLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y28TR
2- BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers # Y06151
2- BaseClip Fit Kit for Yakima BaseLine Roof Rack Towers # Y06154
