Will Thule Gateway 2 Bike Carrier Part # TH88VR Fit a 2002 Ford Escape

Get website, very informative. Im looking for a 2 bike carrier for my Ford Escape 2002. I noticed that the Thule Passenger 2 trunk rack fits, but I was wondering if the Gateway 2 will fit as well. I didnt see it on the list and thought Id check with you. Thx

Both the Thule Passage 2 Bike Carrier, part # TH910XT, and the Thule Gateway 2, part # TH88VR, will fit your 2002 Ford Escape. I have linked an installation video for each of these carriers. The Passage and Gateway carriers share a number of key Thule features including the patented Fit-Dial mounting system, Stay-Put cradles to secure and protect your bike frames, anti-sway cages to prevent bike-to-bike contact and the ability to fold up when not in use. The Gateway 2 uses a long arching tube design to provide maximum vehicle clearance and fit flexibility and also offers a higher weight capacity of 165 pounds.

Please note that your rear wiper cannot be used with either carrier installed.
