Will LED Light of the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Stay on and Drain Battery, 2006 Chevy Silverado

Installed the 90885 controller on 2006 Silverado 1500 and wired using 3015-P. The blue power light stays on. Why? Will this drain the battery over time?

The light you are seeing on your Prodigy Brake Controller # 90185 will stay on for fifteen minutes after the controller sees its last activity. It only draws a few millivolts so you would not need to worry about your vehicle battery draining. If you let it sit for fifteen minutes you should see the light go away. The light should turn green once you connect your trailer connector from your vehicle to your trailer.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
