going with curt hitch and tekonsha wiring harness for my 2021 toyota sienna. can you tell me if the harness needs a mounting bracket?

Good choices with the hitch and wiring options for your 2021 Toyota Sienna, and I can tell you that a mounting bracket is not needed for the wiring harness that fits your vehicle:
- T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK69FR
The reason for that is the harness is actually going to store inside the rear hatch of your Sienna, so it won't be outside your vehicle unless you are using it. This is a really nice thing because it means the 4-way isn't going to be exposed to the elements, which is going to give it more durability than a harness which is outside the vehicle at all times.
