There isn't a specific gear listed by Jeep to place your 2005 Jeep Wrangler Sport manual transmission in while flat towing it. Most Jeep owners prefer either 2nd or 3rd gear so it's really just up to your personal preference. The point of this is to keep the transmission components lubed while flat towing your vehicle.
