Is there something I could attach that would have a level gauge detector to the tank?

To connect to the POL fitting on your 100lb tank you'll need the MB Sturgis Propane Hose # 100022-144-MBS which has a male POL fitting and the MB Sturgis Disposable Propane Bottle Adapter Fitting # 204132-MBS which will connect to the 1"-20 fitting on the hose and to your green Type-1 fitting on your RV.
