Unfortunately, it will not. I tried to mount the Yakima Showdown on the Rhino-Rack HD bars and I was unable to do so, the bars are to tall. None of our mechanical lift systems work with the HD bars. I can recommend a manual system that will aid you in loading your Kayak on your vehicle.

I recommend the Malone DownLoader Kayak Carrier and TelosXL Load Assist w/ Tie-Downs - J-Style - Side Loading part # MPG114MD-351XL. It is the Malone DownLoader Kayak Carrier, which is a j-style carrier, and a TelosXL Load Assist. The Malone DownLoader comes with two different sized carriage bolts; you will need to use the longer bolts with your Rhino-Rack HD bars. You will secure your kayak with the two cam straps and the bow and stern tie-downs, which are included.
