Which Suspension Enhancement System is Recommended for a 2021 F-250 With Sag While Towing?

Question:

I have a F250 and tow 12,250 Fifth wheel. Have a good sag. Will these prevent the sag? Help the ride ? What’s the difference between torklift and timbrens? No one seems to know about these on RV group chats. They all suggest Timbrens or airbags .

The TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade for Upper Overload Springs # TLA7200 will help with sag a little bit, they will assist more with side-to-side sway and body roll. This is due to them replacing the factory pads that the overload spring connect with when needed.

The Timbren and airbag systems will supplement the suspension at all times, giving better support. With that being said, the Timbren set-up will not be adjustable and will affect the ride when not under load. I usually suggest and prefer air bags.

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F35FV are fully adjustable all the way up to 100 psi, giving you up to 5,000 pounds of support when needed. They can then be aired down to 5 psi, which will get the ride back to as close to stock as possible. This is why I prefer this style of suspension enhancement.

However, as you have an FX4 Edition, you will need to measure from top of the rear axle to top of jounce bumper stop to make sure something like this will fit. If this measurement gets you 40, 70 or 80mm, you will be good to go.
