Will the Blue Ox TrackPro Work on a Trailer with Surveyor Legend 19BHLE with 405-lbs Tongue Weight
Question:
I am purchasing a Surveyor Legend 19BHLE with a dry weight of 3,800 pounds and dry tongue weight of 405 pounds. I am towing with a 2021 Colorado 2.8L Duramax. What do you suggest for sway control and weight distribution. Im particularly interested in Blue Ox, but could be convinced otherwise, for sure. Thanks!

When choosing a weight distribution system you'll want to try to find one where the tongue weight of your trailer falls in the middle of the prescribed range of the hitch. In this case, the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution w/ Sway Control - 7-Hole Shank - 6K GTW, 600 lbs TW # BLU36FR you were looking at is a great fit for your trailer with 405-lbs of tongue weight since the range on this hitch is 200-lbs to 600-lbs. This system comes with the hitch ball and shank included, so it's got everything you need to get on the road out of the box. Blue Ox makes very high quality parts and I think you'll be very happy with it-so no need to try to change your mind.
I do recommend confirming that your trailer's tongue weight is not more than 600-lbs when you're fully loaded; if you don't have a tongue weight scale the etrailer # e99044 is a nice tool to have on hand so you'll always know if you're properly loaded.
I've linked some review and installation videos for you to check out.
