As we do not currently carry any 225/75R16 tires, the closest I can suggest is the Castle Rock ST235/80R16 Radial Trailer Tire - Load Range E # LHCK401. This will have a maximum load capacity of 3,520 pounds at 80 psi and has a L speed rating, or 75 miles per hour. This also has a 5-Year warranty that includes complimentary roadside assistance for 2 years available 24/7 anywhere in the United States, Canada, or Puerto Rico.
However, this will be slightly larger than your current 225/75R16 tire. From what I could find, the average tire of this size will have a diameter of 29.29 inches. The # LHCK401 will be a little larger at 30.78 inches. Though this is not very much difference, you do need to make sure you have at least 3 inches of space between the top of the tire and the bottom of the fender/wheel housing.
If you have the space, I definitely recommend going with the Castle Rock # LHCK401. If you do not have the needed space available, there are 2 options we have available.
First will be to use a Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit, like the # K71-384-00. This is designed for a 2 3/8 inch round axle and will move the axle to the bottom of the leaf springs, giving you more clearance. These are pretty common though, so you may already have one installed.
If this is the case, the only thing I can suggest is going with a smaller 15 inch wheel. Something like the Westlake ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Silver Mod Wheel - 6 on 5-1/2 - Load Range E # LHAW124 will still have a load range E (2,830 pounds at 80 psi), it will have an overall diameter of 28.3 inches. This isn't the best option, but if you already have an over under kit on the axle, it will be the best one we have available.
